Mordhau features highly detailed Graphics, realistic Sound Effects, Smooth Controls, different Characters, Customization, and more. The player explore the environment from a first-person perspective and can battle against enemies and other real players from around the globe using a variety of melee weapons. Crossbow, Bow, Shortsword, Greatsword, Battle-axe, etc. The player can modify up to three fields such as character, Equipment, and Armor. Using customization feature, the player can change the appearance of his character using a range variety of items during the game. Up to sixty-four players can participate in a single battle to show off their skills and abilities. Each character has its unique abilities and a set of weapons which can be used to kill enemies. The game offers different characters and lets the player select his one of them to start his adventure. Mordhau is an Action-Adventure, Medieval-themed, Fighting, Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Skill-based Combat developed by Triternion for Microsoft Windows. With engaging gameplay, superb graphics, and cool controls, Way of the Samurai is the best game to play. However, the player starts the game with the access to only one sword. There are 40 different kinds of swords available. Battling is done with different samurai swords. Aside from the direct involvement of the player in selecting the story, the gameplay heavily revolves around combat. Three different factions are competing against each other for the control of the remote village each faction has its own agenda. The game starts with the player, assuming the role of the ronin named Kenji, reaching in the fictional outpost known as Rokkotsu Pass. ![]() The notable feature of the game is branching storyline, enabling the player decisions to modify the story’s course radically. The game takes place in the 19th century and set in Japan, where the player assumes the role of the protagonist, a ronin who wanders into the village and struggle to involve in the battle between rival clans. There’s no PC footage out there yet, but here’s the PlayStation launch trailer for the game offering a taste of what to expect (albeit with better textures and stuff, maybe.) Previous Way of the Samurai titles apparently tended somewhat towards realism, but Way of the Samurai 4 seems to go out of its way to be strange. Plus there’s also a bunch of Samurai combat action and some thoroughly bizarre-looking character customisation. ![]() As far as I know, they’re structured to be relatively short but highly replayable, something that seems to be echoed by Ghostlight when they say “the missions you select will shape your destiny as you discover multiple endings depending on your loyalty to the three factions.” I’ve never played one of these, but they’re periodically recommended to me when I mention how much I like Alpha Protocol. Ghostlight’s summary of Way of the Samurai 4 is as follows: Way of the Samurai has appeared on various consoles (mainly Sony ones) throughout the years, but this will be the first installment to come to PC.
